The children's author David Walliams dropped by book publisher.
Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the firm said: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding reports of questionable actions involving women.
The company declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
